Welcome to 1888 Taphouse & Kitchen, a community-inspired restaurant rooted in tradition, bold flavor, and proud Aggie spirit. Named in honor of the founding year of New Mexico State University, 1888 reflects a legacy of growth, resilience, and school pride that continues to shape who we are today.

Located inside the clubhouse overlooking the NMSU Golf Course, 1888 offers guests scenic views of the course and the beautiful Mesilla Valley. Whether you choose to dine inside or relax on our spacious outdoor patio, you’ll enjoy a welcoming atmosphere designed for gathering, celebrating, and unwinding. Complimentary golf course parking is available, and you do not have to golf to dine with us.

Our menu features elevated comfort food inspired by the dishes our community loves, paired with a curated selection of craft beers and signature cocktails.
